Had an interesting tussle with Jamie Cureton and made some key tackles, but like many, his passing was off. 5

Started right midfield, then went central, working hard in both slots. Came agonisingly close to a late leveller. 6
DAMIEN JOHNSON
Got through his usual number of tackles, but the Plymouth loanee wasn’t quite as influential as usual. 5
JORDAN RHODES
Came close to putting Town ahead with a header against the bar, but couldn’t get past the Exeter defence. 6
ANTHONY PILKINGTON
Full of running and showed some neat touches up front, but his 10th goal of the season wasn’t forthcoming. 6
GARY ROBERTS
Caused Exeter problems on both flanks from time to time, but failed to get a real foothold in the contest. 5
