EVERY now and again a player reminds you that playing football is not all about running around.

That was the case with Dimitar Berbatov for Fulham against Newcastle this week.

He just strolled through the game – what a class act!

To be honest, he reminded me of Frank Worthington in the way that he played.

I played against Frank once when he was about 40 and was playing for Stockport County. I was at Colchester.

I was in my early 20s and was running around all over the place, being busy.

Frank never seemed to move in the whole 90 minutes and yet he was the best player on the pitch by a country mile.

Some players have that composure and poise to be able to dictate play in that fashion.

Frank certainly did it against us in that game for Stockport, simply cruising through the game, and Berbatov brought back those memories the other night.
