From scenes of the Yorkshire coastline to impressionist landscapes, a new exhibition at the Harrison Lord Gallery in Brighouse is showcasing the work of a wide range of artists.

Headlining the show is Yorkshire artist and gallery favourite Sue Nichol, whose seascapes are inspired by the wild Northern coastline.

Alongside her work, Newcastle artist Darren Mundy is exhibiting for the first time outside his native North East with his ‘Hill Town’ series of colourful landscapes and imaginary people.

Zimbabwean-born artist Rozanne Bell’s highly decorative works, including floral and harbour scenes, form a contrast to the impressionist-style Dales landscapes of Leeds-based painter Sheryl Roberts.

Three local artists, Neville Fleetwood and Matt Turner, both from Brighouse, and Halifax-based A J Callan also have work in the exhibition, which runs until October 23.
