What are you wearing today?

I’m actually just about to hit the bike for the first time since my foot injury so I am in my gym gear.

Who’s your style icon?

No one person really stands out for me. I don’t think it’s necessarily what you wear but how you wear it.

What item of clothing do you spend the most on?

I’d have to say evening wear, which I doubt is what many people would say. My job means I attend a lot of special events that usually take place in the evening. As part of the Strictly team, we are in the fortunate position of attending many functions. So I need a lot of different options.

What has been your biggest fashion faux pas?

I think the worst was when I attended a launch and I wore a black top.  It was fine until I had my photograph taken and it became see through under the flash of the camera.  That was quite embarrassing and something I’ve been very mindful of ever since.

What is your favourite piece of clothing in your wardrobe?

I love shoes and my favourite pair are a gorgeous pair of red, patent shoes that were given to me as a gift. They are Kurt Geiger and have a gold heel. I love them! I’m also an outdoor and beach-loving Aussie girl and love swimwear.

What is the most expensive item in your wardrobe?

That would have to be my ballroom dresses. They are made by DSI London.

Who is your favourite designer?

It’s not how expensive clothes are it’s how you wear them. I’m not driven by brand names but I do have favourite labels such as DKNY and Armani Exchange. My ultimate favourite is Roberto Cavalli. His styles are feminine and classy yet simple.

Which is your favourite high street store?

Probably River Island, French Connection and Miss Selfridge.  I usually shop in Selfridges as everything is under one roof.

What did your mum teach you about fashion?

My Mum taught me to always look immaculate. She is quite pedantic when it comes to cleanliness and always taught me to make sure that there were no bobbles on my clothes and they were ironed and pressed to perfection. She knows all the remedies for removing stains from clothes too. She also used to say  always wear matching underwear as you never know what might happen!
