The West Yorkshire Forget Me Not Trust is inviting supporters to raise funds by feeding their friends.
“We want people to hold dinner parties for up to 10 people and give them a three-course meal. The guests then pay up to £25 or whatever they think the meal is worth and the money all goes to the trust,” said Gina Fielding, community fundraiser. A similar initiative in April raised £5,000.
The host or hostess who raises the most wins a meal for up to 10 people at Restaurant 1885 in Greetland.
“It’s possible to increase the amount by holding a raffle, quiz, auction or playing games at the dinner party,” added Gina.
