JEWELLERY designer Maria Lau, who has been based in Huddersfield’s Bates Mill Artspace for several years, is hosting her last jewellery-making workshops in the town later this month.
Maria, who has a national profile in contemporary jewellery and was brought up in West Yorkshire, is moving her workshop to London.
Over the past few years Maria has passed on her skills at a series of workshops for members of the public.
The last will take place on Saturday and Sunday, March 19 and 20 in her studio. The cost of £20 covers the use of tools and materials to create a piece of statement jewellery.
Maria is also planning to hold a one-day workshop at the SPUN yarn shop in the Byram Arcade - for details check out www.spunshop.co.uk
