AN EVENING of beauty, food and fashion to raise money for the Forget Me Not Trust is being planned for Tuesday, November 20, at the Boots store in Huddersfield.
The event will run from 6pm to 9pm. It is being organised by Max Factor consultant Jo Burke and will include make-up demonstrations, a wine tasting, canapes and a fashion show.
The highlight will be the raffle draw, with prizes including a case of wine from Lindley Fine Wines, a Boots beauty hamper, Rubens hair voucher, dinner for two at Lounge 68, an overnight stay in Harrogate for two from Sellers Travel, a signed Huddersfield Town football, digital cameras, a family photo-shoot by Duo Photography, a speciality cake, a Max Factor hamper and a voucher for Eastthorpe Hall spa.
During the evening Jo will be demonstrating glamorous Christmas make-up looks.
Her colleague, Eddie Lurc, will be talking about choosing a fragrance and canapes from Bradley’s restaurant will be served by waiters wearing Laurie Hopkins suits.
The fashion show is being organised by Bellovita, the Brighouse evening wear company.
For people who need to relax Stephanie Barraclough from the Eastthorpe health and beauty spa will be demonstrating massage techniques.
Tickets cost £5, from the fragrance or Max Factor counters in Boots.
All proceeds will go to the charity, which aims to build a hospice for children in Huddersfield and Calderdale at Brackenhall.
