Fartown High School pupils were getting in the mood for their London debut.
The students, aged between 12 and 16, were looking forward to July 4 when they had a date at the Queen Elizabeth Hall to take part in the National Festival of Music and Dance.
They were to perform a piece of work they had written and choreographed themselves.
