Youngster in the news: January 1992
HUDDERSFIELD Town celebrated their 3,000th league match with one of the biggest parties the town has seen - and young readers in the Examiner's Stop Press club were there to join in the fun.

The celebration on the 18th of January had all the ingredients of a great party - thousands of fans as guests, yummy eats and entertainment.
All that was missing to complete the afternoon was a Town win - but the Leeds Road men were unable to find the net against Peterborough to put the icing on the cake.
The club had given away more than 2,000 free tickets for the match and lots of Stop Press readers took advantage of the wonderful offer.
It was an extra-special day for the 100 youngsters with a good reason to celebrate. The club laid on a VIP party in the Shankly Boot Room for young supporters celebrating their birthday on the big day.
Town players dropped in to meet the special guests and there was a celebration cake.
