Studying their catch!
Pupils of Sheepridge Ashbrow Junior School were keen to discover the range of life at the bottom of Meltham Mill Dam during this summer day out.
The youngsters were using Meltham County Primary School’s outdoor classroom, which was equipped with a variety of field study and environmental projects.
Other schools had been invited to use the school’s facilities to study such diverse topics as Meltham village itself, the surrounding moorlands and the pond and wildlife in the area.
