Taking a step back in time are these pupils from Outlane Infants School who donned Victorian garb on July 7, 1986 as part of the school’s centenary celebrations.
From left are Sophie Bedford, Suzanne Jacob, Kathryn Hill, Thomas Dearden, Paul Robertshaw and Lee Johnson.
And running the rule over them is head Miss Margaret Wilson.
All 216 pupils wore Victorian dress – along with their teachers – and lessons and play times were also Victorian style.
