The year was 1962 and Salendine Nook High School was only a few years old.

This photo has been submitted by Examiner reader Stuart Marsden (back row, second right) who could do with some help to name a few of his classmates.

Stuart lives with long-term partner Alison Armitage at Grange Moor.

He said: “It turned out we both worked at Joseph Sykes Brothers wire mill in Lindley but didn’t know each other at the time. I left in 1988 and bought a fish and chip shop in Pellon Lane, Halifax.”

Stuart is now 69 and has also worked at David Browns.

Here are the people Stuart can name, but can you fill in the blanks?

Third row (from left) Malcolm Wood, Peter Hewitson, (?), Harban Singh, (?), Rodney Lumb, (?), Neil Shaw and Trevor Butterworth

Second row (from left) Stephen Shaw, David Mathison, (?), Pat Dawson, Margaret Ashmore, June Tunnacliffe, (?), Elaine Bateman, (?), (?)

Front row is teacher Mr Roberts but the names aren’t known for any of the pupils.
