And so when Wigan goalkeeper Mike Pollitt, a sprightly 40 years and 11 months, was offered the chance to comment on his side Wigan Athletic’s home 1-1 FA Cup third round draw with League I outfit Bournemouth the Premier League custodian gratefully took the prompt and said: “Well, we have another bite at the Cherries”.
Definitely worth drawing the game for that one, Mike!
