REGIONAL airline Eastern Airways today unveiled a cut in prices to tempt business travellers – just days after announcing extra flights from Leeds-Bradford airport.

The Humberside-based carrier is now offering fares starting from just £49 one way, including taxes, fees and charges on services from Leeds-Bradford to Aberdeen and Southampton.

From April 7, the airline will also increase weekday flights to four a day from Leeds-Bradford to Aberdeen and Southampton – increasing capacity by a third.

Eastern Airways, which has been operating scheduled flights from Leeds Bradford for five years, operates 800 flights each week.
