PROPERTY consultancy Knight Frank has strengthened its Yorkshire investment team with the appointment of Andrew Harrison as a senior investment surveyor.

Mr Harrison (pictured) graduated in 2006 from Sheffield University with a degree in law before gaining a masters distinction in real estate management from Oxford Brookes University.

He has now become a full member of the Yorkshire investment team working alongside partners Henrie Westlake and Rebecca Farnsworth.

Mr Harrison has advised clients on more than £8m worth of transactions – with recent highlights being the sales of Aldham Industrial Estate for DTZ Investment Management and Elmfield Business Park for Valad Property Group.

He has also worked closely with Mr Westlake on a number of additional deals throughout 2010, including the £13m sale of Concept House in Sheffield for Irish Life and the £14m acquisition of 2 Cutlers Gate, also in Sheffield, for the Ediston Opportunity Fund.
