THE Sharp Agency has appointed Mandi Taylor to the team based at the Media Centre in Huddersfield.

Ms Taylor joins partners Ton Wass, Richard Sharp and Darlene Sharp, was previously head of strategy and business development at RAPP Edinburgh.

She began her career as a graduate recruit at Ogilvy and Mather in Cape Town, South Africa. Moving to the UK in 1996, she spent four years at Proximity London before joining RAPP in 2002.

The Sharp Agency counts Chrysler, NHS Sheffield and the National Union of Students among its clients.

Mr Sharp said: “With experience running an agency, a track record of new business wins such as Strongbow – where she is credited with developing the first ever mobile-phone CRM programme for the brand – and her ability to build strong client relationships, Mandi is well placed to help take the agency to its next level.”

Mr Wass said: “Mandi brings experience from traditional advertising, integrated marketing and state of the art CRM to our portfolio, further enhancing our offer to the market.”

Ms Taylor added: “When I first met the team, we just clicked. Ideas flowed. Soon we were talking about the future. I am really excited at the prospect of working with such talented individuals who believe that great ideas engage audiences and improve the client’s bottom line.”
