TWO new appointments have been made by food and drink sector skills council Improve and the National Skills Academy for Food and Drink.

Tony Belmega and Joanna Brook (above) take up key management posts.

Mr Belmega joins the academy as network development manager, having previously held senior management positions at the Learning & Skills Council and the Skills Funding Agency. He takes responsibility for managing the academy’s national network of accredited training providers.

Ms Brook becomes contracts and performance manager at Improve. An accountancy graduate, she has previously worked for Yorkshire Forward and Yorkshire Electricity.
