A GROUP with operations in Huddersfield has won an award for customer service.

The general insurance team at Britannia Rescue parent LV= won the prize for best customer service in financial services at the European Call Centre and Customer Service Awards.

The team took the trophy for the third year in a row, beating competitors including Barclays, ING Direct and Lloyds.

The judges commended LV= for demonstrating excellent staff engagement, leading to high levels of customer service and for the company’s investment in customer forums.
