Steve Fearnehough, managing director of Elland-based Crossway Scaffolding, has been elected chairman of the National Access and Scaffolding Confederation’s northern region.
The confederation is the recognised body for the scaffolding industry in the UK with 200 member companies and is a founder member of the UK Contractors Group. Mr Fearnehough (pictured) is responsible for chairing regional meetings across the north of England dealing with issues in the scaffolding industry at regional and national level. Crossway is at the forefront of innovations in the industry, including its Advanced Guardrail System allowing scaffolders to work in greater safety.
