Seven members of staff at solicitors Chadwick Lawrence have been rewarded for their contributions to the firm in the latest round of promotions.

The firm, which has offices at Railway Street in Huddersfield, has announced two new partners and five new associates.

Daniel Krigers, who specialises in employment law, and Dan Hirst, who works in dispute resolution, both become partners.

Joanne Jones and Rebecca Payne (family law), Nils O’Donoghue (employment law), Bhavna Patel (conveyancing) and Peter Harling (corporate and debt recovery) have all been promoted to associate.

Daniel is now the youngest partner at the firm, having started his career with Chadwick Lawrence in 2005. He now heads the property, corporate and employment law teams under the umbrella of the commercial department.

Dan Hirst has been promoted to partner in the Leeds office. He was an associate in commercial litigation at Godloves following the merger in 2012 before heading Chadwick Lawrence’s financial mis-selling department.

Joanne, based at Huddersfield, has been at Chadwick Lawrence for nine years. She advises on all areas of family law, with particular expertise in divorce and the financial consequences of relationship breakdowns.

Rebecca, based at Wakefield, has a particular interest in advising on financial settlements arising from divorce.

Nils, also based at Wakefield, provides advice on the development of practical health and safety strategies, policies and risk management.

Bhavna has been at the firm almost three years and is based at the Morley office dealing with all varying aspects of residential property law.

Working at Wakefield, Peter specialises in corporate recovery and insolvency, insolvency litigation, debt recovery, and company restoration.
