Pedal power comes to the fore at a networking event next month.
The first Connection14 event, organised by Huddersfield accountancy firm Sheards, will be held from 11.30am on Thursday, May 15, at PPG Canalside, Leeds Road, Deighton, and will focus on the Tour de France coming to Huddersfield this summer.
The speaker will be Anne-Marie Parker, business development and engagement manager at Kirklees Council, who will talk about the work under way to ensure that Kirklees businesses are in the best position to make the most of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. She will also explain what will happen on the day itself to help make sure businesses are well-prepared.
