ACCOUNTANCY firm Deloitte today reported record revenues of £103m from its north-east operations.
Deloitte said the figure for the year to May 31 represents a 15% increase on the previous 12 months and came against a backdrop of “turbulent and complex” markets.
North-east senior partner Geoff Taylor said: “All our businesses have performed strongly, with great success achieved by consulting, taking on significant new assignments in the region.”
Financial services continues to be an important growth sector for the Leeds office – with several key account wins with local financial services companies.
UK-wide, Deloitte lifted revenues by 11.5% to reach exceed £2bn. Pre-tax profits increased by 16% to £654m while the average profit per partner increased to £970,000 from £877,000.
Chairman John Connolly said: ““Our performance, which I regard as very strong , reflects a continuous and relentless twin focus on our clients and our people.”
