A SOLICITOR has retired after more than 40 years practising in Huddersfield.
Malcolm Tracey began his legal career in 1966 with Laycock Dyson & Laycock, which merged with Eaton Smith & Downey the following year. He became a partner in that firm in 1973 and was instrumental in its subsequent merger with Marshall Mills & Sykes. He went on to become senior partner at Eaton Smith, which has offices at High Street, but relinquished that role last year.
Mr Tracey and his wife Sue plan to spend more time in Spain, but he will continue to work as a consultant over the next year.
