A FITNESS centre in Huddersfield has completed a £500,000 revamp of its premises.
Total Fitness at Waterloo has opened a new-look cafe featuring new fittings and mood lighting, Starbucks coffee, hot and cold meals and three high definition televisions.
Group cafe manager Paul Stevens said: “The aim was to make the space much more user-friendly and versatile so that it provided a place for members to go before and after training.
“We also wanted it to be somewhere that appealed to our over-50s members, who use the centre every day, as well as the younger people who tend to come in the evening.
“One way we can do this is with the lighting, which can be adjusted to provide the right atmosphere.”
The cafe at Huddersfield is the first of four planned upgrades by Total Fitness this summer.
