HUDDERSFIELD is to host an awards evening for businesses across the region.
The town’s university has joined forces with business support organisations ATL (Yorkshire) Ltd, Business Link Yorkshire and UK Trade & Investment to hold the annual Yorkshire Enterprise and Diversity Awards 2010.
The event celebrates business success, entrepreneurship and diversity in business among small and medium-sized companies. Categories include ones for business young business, outstanding female entrepreneur, international business and diverse business.
Amjad Pervez, chief executive of ATL, said: “We want to encourage all businesses throughout the region to apply for the awards. We want to promote and reward the fantastic business and enterprise opportunities that people are creating out there.”
