EXPERTS who turn companies into success stories underwent a transformation themselves – all in the cause of charity.

Insight with Passion partners Kate Hardcastle and Richard Gomersall were joined by staff and well-wishers for a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party to raise awareness of the Willow Foundation’s work to provide “special days” for people with terminal illnesses.

Kate took on the role of Alice while Richard became the Mad Hatter and colleagues Tanya Haigh, Charlotte Cody and Jenny Tomlinson were transformed into the Queen of Hearts, the March Hare and the Dormouse respectively.

Greetland-based Insight with Passion is the main sponsor of The Charity Dreamgirls, Kate Hardcastle’s all-girl singing group, which has named The Willow Foundation as one of three charities it is supporting this year.

Helping out with the tea party at Shibden Park was Kimberley Lewis-Gordon, of KLG Photography, who donated her time to take pictures of the event, and Fancy Dress Ball, which provided the costumes.

Kate and her team are now donating the costumes to a local children’s hospital while all snacks and cupcakes were donated to a sheltered housing complex near Shibden Park.

Said Kate: “The IWP team all share a strong desire to give back to the community and if we can help in some way to raise awareness for smaller, lesser known charities we will do so.

“It’s been a fantastic day, with visitors to the park offering their support and asking about Willow Foundation.”
