MOST people have made friends for life at work and socialise with colleagues up to three times a week.

A survey of 1,500 office workers by recruitment firm Office Angels showed that three out of four said they loved their job.

Only 4% did not enjoy going to work, with the vast majority enjoying the daily banter and gossip with workmates.

One in four of those polled had met their partner through work, while one in five admitted they had a crush on someone in the office.

David Clubb, managing director of Office Angels, said: "There is so much more to work than `work' and it's great to hear people recognise all the positive benefits a rewarding job and happy working environment can offer.

"Following a miserable start to the year it's warming to know that the nation's workers feel passionate again."
