NEW board members are needed to join the “cast” at Huddersfield’s Lawrence Batley Theatre.
The LBT is seeking people keen to promote the arts and “contribute to the cultural life of Kirklees and the wider Yorkshire region”.
Director Victoria Firth said: “This is a great opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to play a strategic role in the future of this established Šand exciting organisation.
“We are looking for entrepreneurial individuals who will volunteer their own vision and energy to the board.
“We are particularly seeking members with expertise in finance, human resources and cultural diversity.
“Applications from all sections of the community are welcomed.”
The LBT presents a varied programme spanning drama, comedy, opera, music and dance.
It also has a strong commitment to amateur societies and community and youth productions.
