A BUILDING society with a branch in Huddersfield has won a top award.
Leeds Building Society was named Best Regional Lender at the Legal & General Mortgage Club Awards 2011. The presentation at London’s Guildhall celebrated the achievements of lenders and Legal & General's top performing intermediaries over the past 12 months.
Ann Bailey, branch manager at Market Street, said: “This is recognition for the excellent products and service Leeds Building Society offers in Huddersfield and throughout our 65 strong national branch network.”
Stephen Smith, housing and external affairs director at Legal & General, said: “Now in its eleventh year, our Mortgage Club Awards have become one of the key events on the annual calendar recognising the best that lenders have to offer.”
