A HUDDERSFIELD car dealer has reported another record-breaking year.
Longley Park Motors, based at Paddock, has celebrated its 30th anniversary with its best-ever year for used car sales in 2011 – following record sales for new car sales in 2009 and 2010.
John Waite, managing director of the KIA dealership, said a combination of stylish models and industry-leading warranty had given customers confidence to buy.
He said: “What has made our new cars so popular with local drivers for the past three years is now proving an irresistible offer on our pre-owned cars too.
“In 1981 when the business started, motoring and standards of manufacturing were a world apart from what they are now.
“We could not have dreamed of the quality, technology and reliability we now offer.
“Thirty years ago we set out to make buying a car both a satisfying and comfortable experience – and as long as I am in charge that will never change.”
