HUDDERSFIELD people have been invited to an annual carol service next month.

The service, which has been organised by Huddersfield Society of Chartered Accountants, takes place at 1pm on Wednesday December 12 at Huddersfield Parish Church.

The Rev Catherine Ogle, vicar of Huddersfield, will lead the hour-long lunchtime service.

Society president Adrian Lee said he was pleased that Honley Male Voice Choir and Pennine Brass were also taking part.

He said: “We very much appreciate the contribution of these superb musicians, whose skills add so much to the carol concert.”

The service will include carols, choir performances and readings by invited guests.

Mr Lee said: “Entrance, as always, is free but people should try to arrive early as we are hoping to continue the very good attendance of recent years which has seen between 300 and 350 people packing the pews in the parish church.”
