A MIRFIELD business has set its sights on expansion in the Far East following a buy-out.

The oil blending division of Squire A Radcliffe and Sons Ltd has been bought by Stuart Mann.

Mr Mann, a former export sales manager for a local lubricants manufacturer, becomes managing director of the Radcliffe business.

Mr Mann said he planned to promote sales of lubricants for the automotive, engineering and textile industries in the UK, Far East and Europe.

Radcliffe i based at Lowlands Road.

The buy-out - for an undisclosed sum - was backed by Royal Bank of Scotland, represented by Meurig Edwards and Steve Couldwell.
