MENSWEAR retailer Moss Bros said sales trends were improving amid efforts to overhaul the business.
The group, which has a store at New Street in Huddersfield and about 150 Moss Bros branded stores UK-wide, posted losses of £3m in the six months to August 1 compared with a deficit of £2.2m a year earlier.
Like-for-like sales fell by 2.6%.
But new chief executive Brian Brick said the period ended with a “noticeable” improving sales trend, which continued into the second half of the year as the company improved staff training and customer service.
