MOBILE phones business O2 will enter its fifth European market next month with a move into Slovakia.
The company, which opens up in the country on February 2, said it was already attracting potential customers.
Telefónica O2 Slovakia, which won the tender for a third in-country licence last August, joins O2's operations in the UK, Germany, Ireland and the Czech Republic.
It has already had an encouraging start, with more than 400,000 pre-registered potential customers.
Its adoption of the O2 brand follows the successful re-branding of the Czech Republic business last year.
