PETS at Home is being circled by a number of private equity firms while it considers a stock market listing, according to reports.

The pet supplies retailer, which has a store at Huddersfield’s Great Northern Retail Park and 240 stores UK-wide, has appointed JP Morgan Cazenove to look at a potential offering of shares next year.

But media reports said that at least five private equity firms have tabled provisional offers, including leading names KKR and Apax.
