AN account executive with Huddersfield haulage firm The Pink Link has driven away with an award for the second year running.
Mark Buchanan (above) was overall winner at the annual national sales convention run by Palletways, the UK’s largest pallet distribution network.
The prize, which Mark first won a year ago, recognises his use of “best practice” methods at Netherton-based The Pink Link – which have been taken up at other Palletways depots across the UK.
Said Mark: “I’m thrilled to have won for the second year running.
“Our success at The Pink Link is down to a real team effort – with everyone from drivers and customer service representatives to senior managers pulling in the same direction.
“It’s been a tough year for the industry, but we’ve maintained a positive attitude and our goal is to identify every single opportunity for the business and not let anything slip through our fingers.”
The awards recognise the best business development performers among Palletways’ UK network of 100-plus member companies.
