SOFT drinks firm AG Barr said tropical brands Rubicon and KA added fizz to its latest sales figures.
The group, best known for making Irn Bru, expects like-for-like sales to be up by 12% in the three months to January 28, as it outperformed a buoyant soft drinks market.
Shares rose by 2% after it reported that its Jamaica-inspired KA range and its exotic juice brand Rubicon enjoyed double-digit growth.
The Cumbernauld-based company said its brands had also performed well because they were seen to offer value for money.
Full-year sales are set to rise by about 6%.
