STAFF at a Dewsbury company will swap chairs for saddles to raise charity cash.

Specialist furniture manufacturer Shackletons has signed up for the 240-mile Pedals4Pounds bike ride to raise money for Yorkshire Air Ambulance’s Keep It Up campaign.

Calling themselves the Clean Shaven Bikers, Shackletons’ employees and a few dedicated associates will take part in the challenge, which starts on May 1 in Huddersfield and follows a route taking them to Hull, Scarborough and Harrogate before returning to Huddersfield on May 4. The event is being run in association with Huddersfield Town.
