STAFF at the Huddersfield branch of Leeds Building Society helped raise £2,500 for the 2008 Jeans for Genes appeal. Staff wore jeans to work on Jeans for Genes Day and donated £2 to the appeal. They also boosted the funds by selling decorative zip-pulls in the two months leading up to Jeans for Genes Day on Friday, October 3. The money raised each year funds support for children and their families as well as research into the causes and cures of genetic disorders.
