AWARD-WINNING author and businesswoman Jo Haigh has won yet another accolade – for being an outstanding speaker.

The Denby Dale woman was recognised as an Outperforming Speaker by Vistage, the chief executive membership organisation. Vistage members meet monthly to share their experiences and offer each other advice.

Jo, who is head of corporate finance at MGR Chartered Accountants in Sheffield and London, said: “I am absolutely delighted to have won this award. Vistage is an absolutely fantastic organisation.”

The award was presented by Tony Price, interim chief executive office of Vistage International.

He said: “Our 650 chief executives and managing directors have acknowledged Jo as one of the most consistent speakers.”

Jo, author of Tales From The Glass Ceiling, was 2005 Yorkshire Businesswoman of the Year and the Institute of Director’s Business Adviser of the Year Award in 2006.
