PNEUMATIC products and process systems company Thorite has appointed Cleckheaton man Mike Armstrong as national accounts manager.
Mr Armstrong, 46, has 25 years experience in the industry. He spent eight years with Bradford-based Thorite and rose to become operations manager before leaving two years ago to join Kirkburton-based Easilift Loading Systems as service operations manager.
Mr Armstrong, who lists sport among his leisure interests, is an international tumbling gymnastics Judge and a member of the sport’s national technical committee, managing the activities of this country’s judges and taking an active role in the Yorkshire region by organising competitions.
He has represented Great Britain as part of the senior and junior national squads and this summer travels to China with the senior team for a World Cup competition.
