A Holmfirth business is helping companies achieve online success through a Government programme to provide strategic advice to small businesses.

WSI Yorkshire is working closely with several companies as part of the Growth Voucher funding programme and is already seeing promising results helping clients to increase traffic to their websites and build their online presence.

The Growth Voucher funding scheme provides businesses with a match funded voucher for up to £2,000, allowing them to receive the expert advice and guidance they need to help them grow.

Not all businesses are successful, as funding is allocated randomly. However, for those that do receive it, the funding can be invaluable.

Steve Harvey Franklin, owner of WSI Yorkshire, said: “The funding has been and is continuing to be a great help to clients who would like advice and consultancy on all things digital. This is the digital age and we all need to know how to make the most of it to help our businesses grow.

“Even though the funding is awarded randomly, it’s most definitely worth a shot. If a client is unsuccessful there are other options and we will always work with our clients in the best way possible to suit them and their needs.”

Electrical engineering firm C J Connally, based at Beaumont Park, has been awarded the funding and is working with WSI Yorkshire to achieve greater success on the web.

Managing director Chris Connally said: “WSI are working with us to help us to reach our target market through the use of the internet and we are looking at different marketing methods so that we can grow the business.”
