We're beyond excited to start receiving this year's pictures of your little one.

There are four age categories this year to enter. They are 0-9 months, 10-18 months, 19-36 months and 3-5 years.

Its as simple as 1,2,3. All you have to do is get the cameras at the ready or use a favourite picture you already have, fill in the form below & let us see all those gorgeous babies in Huddersfield.

The winner will receive £500 shopping vouchers and three category runners up will also receive a £50 shopping voucher.

All entries will appear in a souvenir bumper supplement in the Huddersfield Examiner on November 4th 2017. The supplement is a great keepsake to have & to share with all the family.

HOW TO ENTER

It's easy to enter, simply complete the form below with your details and select a photo of your child that you would like to enter the competition.

Please ensure that you have submitted an appropriate photo & that is is a picture of the child by themselves.

Terms and Conditions

Entrance to the competition will automatically involve the publishing of the baby's name and photograph. Photos may be used in paper and on examiner.co.uk and associated social media sites. All pictures entered correctly into the competition will be printed in the paper during November 2017. The Huddersfield Examiner cannot be held responsible for the quality of photographic print in the newspaper or any misspellings or entrants' names, or for missing/non-featured photos.

Photographs submitted to enter the competition must be a single work of original material taken by the entrant and not have been published elsewhere. By entering, each entrant acknowledges and warrants that the submitted photograph/image has been taken with the full permission of the subjects (where the subject is the person) and does not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, and that no other party has any right, title, claim or interest in the photograph. Photographs must not contain inappropriate content. Entrants warrant that they own the copyright. Whilst copyright remains with entrants, by entering the competition, each entrant grants a worldwide licence to Trinity Mirror to feature any or all of the submitted photographs in any of their publications or websites connected with this competition.

Entrants will be placed in the following categories according to their age on the day of the photograph, 0-9 months, 10-18 months, 19-35 months & 3-5 years. The entrant must not have reached their 6th birthday by this date. If you are submitting an entry for twins they must be entered separately. Entry photos are via our website and will be given more details on this which have been uploaded during the entry period between 2 October - 15 October 2017. Finalists and eventual winners will be decided by readers’ votes via a premium telephone line and in-paper votes. The Top 10 from each category will appear in the second round of voting. In the event of a tie, a tie-breaker round will be implemented. The winners will be decided by the number of in-paper votes and reader’s votes via a premium telephone line (50p per call/50p per text). Votes received after the closing date will not be counted but you may still be charged. Prizes include the coveted title of ‘Huddersfield Examiner Baby of the Year 2017’ and £500 shopping vouchers for the overall winner and £50 shopping vouchers for each of the three other category winners. There is no part/whole cash alternative.

The decision of the editor is final and no correspondence can be entered into. Any entrants found to have their voting credentials advertised via social media without the necessary cost warnings and relevant Terms and Conditions will be disqualified and all votes cancelled. Under these circumstances, voters will still be charged and refunds will not be given for disqualified entrants or the votes that were made for them.
