NINE-year-old Abi Archer, pictured with teacher Miss Wright and little sister Miriam, attends Linthwaite Ardron Church School, and spent the last half-term taking photographs and writing a book to raise money for its ‘twin’ school in Mara, Tanzania.
Abi hopes to sell all 100 copies of Miriam And The Hens for this good cause.
The picture story book is for younger children and follows Miriam in the garden with her hens Muffin and Speckle.
Abi has added humour and her own drawing too.

Abi is currently working on her next book which will be available in time for Christmas.
It is to be called Miriam and Mistletoe and is about her hamster and its adventures around the house.
