A MARTIAL arts instructor trained by masters in Japan will be attending a session in Huddersfield.
Sensei Niall Matthews 5th Dan has more that 30 years of Aikido training in Japan and will be attending a session at The Lighthouse Centre in Birkby on Saturday.
The sessions, which run from 3.30pm until 9pm, will be hosted by Billy McAuley, chief instructor, 5th Dan UK Shinwakai Aikido.
Billy McAuley said: “Aikido is a unique Japanese martial art intended to train the body, the mind and the spirit and can be practiced by both the young and elderly alike. If you are considering taking training in a martial art then Aikido, which does not use strength, expands your mental alertness, develops your self-confidence and improves your level of fitness.
“I have known Niall Matthews for 27 years and I have seen his very severe training and his tough training regime and I have never once heard him complain.
“You should never miss out on an opportunity to take training from Niall Matthews.”
