PREPARATIONS are underway for Almondbury South Tenants & Residents Association’s annual Christmas tea party.
Secretary Sheila Stott, pictured, said this year’s party would be the 26th that has been organised and her 12th.
She said: “We haven’t finalised a date yet but it is normally Christmas week.
“We put a lovely tea party on for the elderly and the children and their parents. Everyone enjoys it.”
She said it had been a good year for the association with children and parents enjoying a trip to Bridlington in August and the elderly one in September.
“We hired a 50-seater coach on each occasion, she said, “and everyone had a lovely time.”
