THE World’s rudest proprietor is again opening up his hotel to the public of the Holme Valley.

The infamous Basil Fawlty – he of Fawlty Towers fame – returns to Holmfirth next week.

And, be warned, his antics haven’t changed and life down at the Towers is guaranteed to be just as manic as ever.

The acclaimed Turn Again Theatre will stage Fawlty Towers 2 at Holmfirth Civic Hall next week from Wednesday to Saturday (May 18 to 21, starting 7.45pm).

The four main leading characters from the sell-out first Fawlty show three years ago all reprise their roles... with Neil Stacey as the anarchic Basil, Loretta Skelton as his wife Sybil, Richard Skelton as the hapless Spanish waiter Manuel and Gwen Parr as Polly the waitress and assistant.

It promises to be a barrel of laughs – and slaps!
