THE family of a Milnsbridge landlady who died just 10 days after her cancer diagnosis are taking legal action after she was “fobbed off” for nine months.

Mum-of-two Beverley Hufton was so ill by the time medics discovered the tumour growing in her stomach, there was no time for treatment.

Her family claim she was the victim of a catalogue of errors, which led to her untimely death.

The popular landlady, who ran three well known Huddersfield pubs, had complained to doctors for nine months of a number of problems.

Her family are now taking legal action and will host a fundraiser in her memory to help cancer sufferers at Kirkwood Hospice.
