Superwoman took on a Smurf as part of a fundraising training session.

The Brighouse Ladies and Girls Rugby League teams joined together for a fancy dress training session.

With more than 20 women and girls, ladies coach Michelle Anderson and her husband Dave put together a rugby league training session that had both teams come together and have a fun session in aid of Sport Relief.

The session saw such sights as Superwoman ‘flying’ up with the tackle bags, a blue Smurf and ‘Luigi’ teaming up to dummy a pretty fairy, whilst Rambo and an Army soldier smashed their way past a variety of animals to try and save Dexter Morgan’s latest victim.

After a fun packed session the teams all joined together in Brighouse Sports Club to hold a raffle with prizes kindly donated by Bradford Lazerzone, Lisa’s Cake Creations, Colvin’s Cupcakes and Kirklees College Beauty Sanctuary.

The Brighouse Ladies and Girls Rugby League teams raised £200.00 for Sport Relief
