A ladies football team have a new signing.

Brighouse Town Ladies have announced two new official partners which will help the team develop.

RRG Bradford Lexus and RRG Toyota Huddersfield will sponsor both the home and away kit for the ladies 1st team during the current season with an option of a further year.

The partnership came about by chance through Twitter during pre-season when the club were in the process of securing funding to ensure they could continue to build off the back of a very successful unbeaten campaign the previous season.

Rob Mitchell, manager, said: “We were over the moon when RRG came forward and wanted to sponsor us this season, Martin has been brilliant and we are in regular contact about the team and our progress for the future.

“To attract a company of their size really is testament to how far the club have come and in partnership we hope we can build further for the future.”

Fleet manager Martin Collins has been instrumental in ensuring the partnership between the ladies team and RRG is a successful one and along with the ladies manager Rob Mitchell and the rest of the team they are determined to promote each other in any way they can.

Martin Collins of RRG said: “I for one am a true supporter of football and in particular the women’s format of the game and we are proud to support the ladies in any way we can.

“We are very interested in building for the future and will continue to support grass roots football at Brighouse Town, It’s a great set up and we have managed to get a few ground boards up at the ground which will hopefully catch the attention of fellow supporters of the club.”
